Deposit Not Reflecting
Money has left your bank and your balance has not moved. It is the most stressful thing that happens at a cashier and the fix is almost always simple, because the payment is unallocated rather than lost — it exists, it just has not been matched to your account yet. The single most important thing is what you do in the next two minutes.
Do not deposit again
This is the reflex and it is the wrong move. A second attempt does not push the first one through. It creates a second payment, and now two transactions have to be untangled instead of one — which takes longer, not less time.
Refresh the cashier once. Then wait a few minutes. Most delays clear on their own within that window, because the delay is usually a message between the payment provider and the operator arriving late rather than anything being wrong.
Check it actually left
Before reporting anything, confirm the money genuinely left your account — not that the app showed a confirmation screen, but that your balance is lower or a debit is showing.
Pay-by-bank sessions expire, and a session that timed out while you were waiting for an OTP can look completed without ever having gone through. If nothing left your account, there is no payment to trace and you can simply try again.
What support needs from you
If the money left and it still has not landed after a short wait, contact support with all four of these. Sending them together is the difference between a same-session fix and a three-message back-and-forth:
- The exact amount, to the cent.
- The date and time of the payment.
- The method used — Instant EFT, Ozow, Capitec Pay, card, voucher.
- The bank reference or transaction ID, from your banking app or the payment confirmation.
A screenshot of the transaction in your banking app usually covers all four at once. With that, the payment can be traced and allocated to your account.
Voucher deposits are different
If you were redeeming a voucher and it says already redeemed, that is not a delay — the PIN has been spent. Take the slip to the voucher issuer, since the casino cannot recover value used elsewhere. See what to do with a voucher that will not redeem.
For method-specific behaviour, the payment methods page covers each one, and the deposit walkthrough covers the normal flow.
Frequently asked questions
Should I deposit again if the first one has not shown up?
No. A second attempt does not push the first through — it creates a second payment, so two transactions need untangling instead of one. Refresh once, wait a few minutes, and contact support if it still has not landed.
How long should I wait before reporting it?
A few minutes. Most delays are a message arriving late between the payment provider and the operator, and they clear on their own in that window. If the money left your account and nothing has happened after that, report it.
What information does support need?
The exact amount, the date and time, the method used, and the bank reference or transaction ID. A screenshot of the transaction in your banking app usually shows all four at once and gets it resolved fastest.
Is my money lost?
Almost never. The payment is typically unallocated rather than lost — it exists and has not yet been matched to your account. That is a recoverable problem, which is why the reference number matters so much.
