First Person Games
First Person is Evolution's range of solo, software versions of its live tables — First Person Blackjack, Roulette, Baccarat, Dragon Tiger, Lightning Roulette and more. They look like the live studio, they use the same interface, and there is no dealer and no other players. Understanding that difference is the whole point of this page.
What they actually are
A First Person game is an RNG game — results come from a random number generator, exactly like a slot. The 3D studio you are looking at is a rendering, not a camera feed. Nothing is being dealt anywhere.
That is not a criticism. It is simply a different product from a streamed table, and the marketing sits close enough to the live range that players regularly assume they are watching a real dealer. They are not.
When First Person is the better choice
- Learning. No dealer, no other players, no decision timer. You can sit with a basic strategy chart on a blackjack hand for as long as you like without holding anyone up.
- Data. No video stream, so far lighter on a mobile connection than a live table.
- Pace. You control it completely. Play one hand and walk away, or run quickly.
- Lower stakes. Table minimums are often lower than the live floor.

When live is better
If the reason you are playing is the atmosphere — a real person, real cards, other players at the table — First Person will not deliver it, however good the rendering is. The whole appeal of the live floor is that something is genuinely happening.
Many First Person games also include a button to move straight to the equivalent live table, which is the intended path: learn in First Person, play live when you are comfortable.
