Super Sic Bo

Sic Bo is a three-dice game that has been played for centuries, and Super Sic Bo is Evolution's version with random multipliers added on top. You bet on what the three dice will do — a total, a specific number appearing, a pair, a triple — and before each roll some of those bets are given boosted payouts.

The bets available

Sic Bo has more betting options than most dice games, and they vary enormously in how often they land.

  • Small and Big — the total falls between 4 and 10, or between 11 and 17. Close to even money and the most frequent bets on the table.
  • Specific total — any total from 4 to 17, paying more the further from the middle it sits.
  • Single number — a chosen number appears on one, two or three of the dice, paying more the more times it shows.
  • Double and Triple — two or three dice showing the same face. Triples are the rarest bet on the table and pay accordingly.

As with Lightning Dice, middle totals are far more likely than the extremes because more combinations of three dice produce them.

The multiplier layer

Before each roll, the game assigns random multipliers to a selection of the available bets. If you have backed one of the boosted bets and it lands, you are paid at the multiplied rate instead of the standard one.

The multipliers are drawn fresh every round and do not carry over. As elsewhere in this family, they are funded from the base payouts rather than added for free — the game redistributes toward rarer, larger wins.

Which bets are worth taking

Small and Big are the cheapest bets on the table and the sensible default. They land often, the margin on them is the lowest available, and they keep a session going.

Triples are the opposite: the rarest outcome, the biggest headline payout, and the highest cost over time. They are the bet the multiplier layer makes most tempting, which is worth being conscious of. A game with a lot of exotic bets is a game where the cheap bets are easy to overlook.

Where it sits

Lightning Dice is the simpler three-dice game — totals only, no side bets — and a better starting point if the full sic bo table looks busy. For dice without any multiplier layer, standard sic bo is on the software tables.

Everything settles in rand at a licensed operator.

Frequently asked questions

What can you bet on in Super Sic Bo?

Small or Big (totals 4 to 10 or 11 to 17), a specific total from 4 to 17, a single number appearing on one, two or three dice, and doubles or triples. The options range from near even money to very long odds.

Which sic bo bet is cheapest?

Small and Big. They land often and carry the lowest margin on the table, which makes them the sensible default. Triples have the biggest headline payout and the highest cost over time.

How do the multipliers work?

Before each roll the game assigns random multipliers to a selection of bets. Back a boosted bet that lands and you are paid at the multiplied rate. Multipliers are drawn fresh each round and never carry over.

Are the multipliers free money?

No. As with the rest of the Lightning family, they are funded by adjusting the base payouts. The game redistributes toward rarer, larger wins rather than adding value on top of the standard game.
