How a round runs
You buy one or more cards before the round. Each carries a grid of numbers. A presenter then draws numbered balls from a machine and every match is marked off your cards for you.
Completing lines is what pays, and completing more lines pays more. Because the marking is automatic there is nothing to play once the draw begins — the decisions are all made when you choose how many cards to buy.
The Mega Ball itself
The last ball drawn is the Mega Ball, and it arrives with a multiplier attached. It is drawn after the main sequence, so by that point you already know which lines are one number short.
If the Mega Ball completes a line for you, that line's win is multiplied. That is the whole tension of the game: you spend the main draw watching which cards are close, knowing the final ball can turn a near-miss into the biggest win of the round. If it completes nothing, the multiplier is worth nothing to you.
How many cards to buy
More cards means more grids in play and more chance the Mega Ball lands somewhere useful. It also means a proportionally larger stake, so it raises the size of the bet rather than the value of it.
