Software roulette resolves instantly, as many spins as you want. Faster is not neutral — the house edge applies per spin, so a game that lets you play four times as many rounds an hour costs four times as much an hour. Inside bets cover specific numbers. A straight-up single number pays most and lands least; splits, streets, corners and lines cover more numbers for progressively less.

Martingale — double after every loss so one win recovers everything — fails on two practical points, not theoretical ones. Losing runs get long enough that the required stake becomes impossible, and every table has a maximum bet that caps the sequence exactly when you need it not to.
Underneath that is the simpler problem: the wheel has no memory. After ten reds, red and black are as likely as they were on the first spin. Systems rearrange when your wins and losses arrive. They cannot change the expected result, because that is fixed by the pockets.
